Titan 510 Cartomizer – Review
If you haven’t heard of a cartomizer before, al they are is the combination of the atomiser and cartridge system into on single unit, this effectively turns your 3 piece electronic cigarette into a 2 piece device. I personally prefer them to the traditional cartridge system as they seem to work a whole let better.
I’ve had a Titan 510 for about just over 3 months now and couldn’t really get on with the cartridge system. I found that the e-liquid wouldn’t flow properly, and I would be continually topping up the cartridge up with about four drops at a time although the cartridge held about 16 drops. I tried various different fillers and modifications but could never use all the liquid in the cartridge, which seemed fairly wasteful to me.
The Titan 510 Cartomizer has given me a new appreciation of my Titan 510 electronic cigarette, as it holds more liquid than the cartridge system but doesn’t have any of the wicking problems associated with the cartridges. Even my thicker VG liquids seem to flow properly.
Another thing I’ve noticed is that the different flavours of e-liquids taste better through the 510 Cartomizer than the cartridge system, while still providing a good throat hit and decent vapour production.
Size-wise the Titan 510 Cartomizers are the almost the same size as the assembled atomiser and cartridge system, maybe just a mill or 2 longer, but it’s not something that you’ll really notice.

The draw is also nice and smooth and not to dissimilar to what I remember a regular tobacco cigarette to be like. When you inhale the 510 Cartomizer makes a crackling / fizzing sort of noise but it’s not to loud.
They are available from Totally Wicked / TECC for £1.99 pre-filled with either their tobacco or Menthol flavours, at strengths of 18mg, 14mg and 11mg. I’m not going to state how long they last as I find that it greatly varies between users, as everyone has their own vapeing habits. But what I will say is that they hold around 20 drops or 1ml of liquid.
Now you might think that £1.99 seems fairly expensive compared to a regular atomiser and cartridge system, and if they were a single use item I might agree, but the 510 Cartomizers can be refilled. I’ve heard of people re-filling them 20-30 times before they die. I can’t really confirm this as I haven’t had mine long enough yet, but have refilled them about 6 times at the time of writing this. Also the more 510 Cartomizers you buy at a time the cheaper they get. Buying in 25′s costs £43.79 which is about £1.75 each.
All in all I am really impressed with the 510 Cartomizers and would highly recommend them. They will fit any device that uses a 510 atomiser such as the Tornado or Screwdriver. At the price it is well worth trying out 1 or 2 and making up your own mind.
